I think being able to send texts to group would be more effective than emails. Many emails are not read or go to spam.

I wish we had a texting service that would allow assignors to text a group of umpires within a certain distance of a game. Something similar to remind.com.

Please add more details People are more responsive to texts than emails. Emails are good for game reminders, but group communication would be greatly enhanced.
